Meet The Artist...Small Business Connections At Their Best

Hello, friends!

We love working with other small businesses.  Who better understands the way things work for a small business than a fellow entrepreneur?  We have been working with a few different tee shirt makers over the last several years and I definitely have my favorites that consistently produce quality, stylish, trendy items.  One such company is based in Spearman, Texas and it has recently come to our attention that a former Clarendon resident is producing art for their tees and it happens to be the daughter of one of my very dear friends that I haven't seen in years!

Those of you in Clarendon may remember Kent and Robin Hargis and their two lovely daughters Callie Ann and Mary Beth.  I recently ran into Robin at Christmas Roundup in Amarillo and she knew from my facebook page that we carry Texas True tees and she told me that Callie Ann Hensley (Hargis)  was asked to provide some of her artwork for tee shirts and I should check it out!  That's exactly what I did!  Let's just say I was not disappointed and you won't be either.  One style  (Blanket Donkey) is in stock now and there is more to come!

Here's a little info about what Callie is up to now that I thought you would find interesting ~~

Find this Native Texas Artist at Water Street Studios in the Hill Country of Kerrville, TX. But know half her heart lives in the Texas panhandle where her family is and she grew up. Her style is fun spirited southwestern folk art which is more of a vehicle to bring people together rather than be taken too seriously. Want to make one of your own? Go to one of her many painting parties. Look for Callie Ann all around Texas and online at

One of my favorite perks of having a small business is all the fun connections we get to make!  Robin and I lost touch over the last several years, and these adorable tee shirts have put us back in touch...how cool is that?
